Welcome to my new blog. I cannot promise regular posts but I hope to use this to keep people up with what's going on here in York.

I work as an Accounting Technician with the City of York Council. I support schools with support services and schools funding. The council is introducing a new computerised financial management system and I represent the Learning, Culture and Children's Service department on the purchase to payment stream of the project. As from next week I am also being seconded to the central project team for two days a week to help with the technical side of the set up of the system.



I am also busy as treasurer of the local parish church with closing of the 2008 accounts. There are two churches in the parish. Do checkout our new website holytrinitystwulstan.org.uk
